Financial Analyst - Accountant

About the role

The Financial Analyst supports the Regional Accounting Manager in a variety of accounting and financial analysis functions. This role is responsible for coordinating month-end closing activities, consolidating weekly financial estimates, analyzing financial and operational performance, preparing monthly and quarterly reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The Financial Analyst works closely with Accounting, Operations, and Corporate teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with team members at all organizational levels, from Accounting Clerks to Executive Leadership. The position can be located at any of the Pilgrim’s facilities listed – Douglas, GA, Marshville, NC, Sumter, SC, Broadway, VA, Nacogdoches, TX or Mt. Pleasant, TX East.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate and consolidate weekly financial estimates and supporting narratives for business unit reporting.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial performance reports.
• Develop
