FIU's Office of University Compliance seeks a Financial Analyst to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Quarterly reconciliation of accounts for the Office of University Compliance
• Maintaining detailed financial records
• Providing financial recommendations and assisting in the development of internal guidelines
• Assisting in the development and implementation of the annual operating budget
• Analyzing current and past performance for forecasting
• Generating financial reports
• Responding to inquiries on E&G / Auxiliary accounts
• Maintaining a record of budget expenditures and reconciling to PantherSoft Financials System
• Performing purchasing functions including purchase order management, expenditure/invoice processing, and reporting
• Maintaining department records of budget transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Serving as the HR Contact for the department

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline with 2 years of experience, or Master's degree in related discipline
