Financial Analysis - Vice President

Job Responsibilities

Lead the dialogue with Commercial Real Estate Segment Heads, Regional Managers, and senior stakeholders across the Commercial Bank to deliver actionable insights on segment performance, client trends, and forward-looking outlook.
Develop and present clear, decision-oriented financial analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) tailored to segment/industries; support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc requests as needed.
Create, maintain and review financial models and analyses (both recurring and ad-hoc)
Conduct deep dive analyses on key issues impacting clients/business to determine root cause and propose solutions
Partner with Business Management and Analytics and Reporting teams to develop insightful reporting, focusing on drivers, and the “so what, now what?” dialogue
Drive value-add change by helping to simplify processes, accelerate automation, and enhance analytics and business support

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• 7+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Finance, Planning & Analysis and/or Accounting
• Experience in corporate financial analytics with an understanding of a Bank's balance sheet, P&L and key drivers
• Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables; strategic thinker
• Excellent verbal & written communication and relationship management skills, strong executive presence, and ability to tell a story with data
• Strong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate appropriately
• Self-starter and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary
• Experience with managing/leading a team
