Financial Aid Officer

About the role

The Financial Aid Officer is responsible for managing financial aid programs, assisting students with applications, and ensuring compliance with federal and institutional regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial aid applications and disbursements
• Provide guidance and support to students regarding financial aid policies and procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial aid claims
• Communicate with students, parents, and external agencies regarding financial aid matters
• Monitor and report on financial aid program performance
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and institutional policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial aid administration or related field
• Strong understanding of federal and institutional financial aid policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FAFSA and other financial aid forms
• Experience with financial aid software systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay

Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
