About the role
The Financial Aid Officer is responsible for managing financial aid programs, assisting students with applications, and ensuring compliance with federal and institutional regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial aid applications and disbursements
- Provide guidance and support to students regarding financial aid policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial aid claims
- Communicate with students, parents, and external agencies regarding financial aid matters
- Monitor and report on financial aid program performance
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and institutional policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial aid administration or related field
- Strong understanding of federal and institutional financial aid policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Knowledge of FAFSA and other financial aid forms
- Experience with financial aid software systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
