Who We Are Looking For

Siegfried Advisory, LLC, an affiliate of The Siegfried Group, LLP, is currently looking for a Senior Associate to support its Financial Advisory Services group. This group provides value-added business advisory services to its growing group of diverse entrepreneurial clients. This position offers a unique combination of business advisory client service opportunities and leadership opportunities at one of the nation’s leading CPA firms.

WHERE YOU'LL BE

You must be commutable to either the Philadelphia, PA or Wilmington, DE office locations 4 days per week.

What You Will Work On

• Develop and maintain relevant and compelling relationships with owners and managers of entrepreneurial organizations
• Lead engagements across various service offerings, including:
• Financial planning and analysis – financial forecasts, development of KPIs, budgeting & variance reporting, dashboarding, decision support
• Outsourced accounting close & reporting
• Identify ways to help business owners grow their business value
• Research and implement technical accounting issues
• Lead and develop engagement teams through guidance and mentorship to deliver on offerings and deepen client relationships
• Other financial modeling exercises including segment profitability, cash flow forecasting
• Accounting assistance including cash-to-accrual, audit readiness and monthly close design and review
• Control assessments and process improvement within accounting and finance functions
• Ownership changes and considerations

Senior Associates Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop associates in the group to help them achieve their professional goals
• Ensure associates receive the adequate training and other resources to succeed
• Suggest topics for L&D efforts
• Review internal processes and requirements
• Incorporate client feedback into development materials

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years in accounting or accounting & finance
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Client Services experience
• Ability and willingness to work in a Siegfried office as required for an average of four days per week in accordance with Siegfried's then-current policy. (This requirement is subject to change at the discretion of management)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience with financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities, including financial modeling and/or dashboarding
