Financial Advisory Services - Senior Associate
About the role
Siegfried Advisory, LLC, an affiliate of The Siegfried Group, LLP, is seeking a Senior Associate to support its Financial Advisory Services group. This group provides value-added business advisory services to a growing and diverse entrepreneurial client base. Location
You must be commutable to either the Philadelphia, PA or Wilmington, DE office locations 4 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with owners and managers of entrepreneurial organizations, leading engagements across service offerings, including:
- Financial planning and analysis: financial forecasts, KPI development, budgeting & variance reporting, dashboarding, and decision support
- Outsourced accounting close and reporting
- Research and implementation of technical accounting issues
- Financial modeling exercises: segment profitability, cash flow forecasting
- Accounting assistance: cash-to-accrual, audit readiness, monthly close design and review
- Control assessments and process improvement within accounting and finance functions
- Ownership changes and considerations
- Lead and mentor engagement teams to deliver on offerings and deepen client relationships.
- Mentor and develop associates in the group, helping them achieve professional goals by:
- Suggesting topics for learning and development efforts
- Reviewing internal processes and requirements
- Incorporating client feedback into development materials

Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years in accounting or accounting & finance
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Client services experience
- Willingness to work in a Siegfried office 4 days per week (subject to management discretion)
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification
- Experience with financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities, including financial modeling and/or dashboarding

This is an exempt, at-will position under FLSA.
