About the role
The Financial Advisor Manager (FAM) is responsible for the direct management of a team of Financial Advisors. Key objectives include hiring, on-boarding, and supervising the day-to-day activities and performance of the FAs in an assigned market/territory.
Responsibilities
- Hiring, on-boarding, and managing a team of Financial Advisors
- Recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring Financial Advisors
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines for Mass Affluent and TDPCW offerings
- Increasing Mass Affluent product sales productivity and referral productivity through active coaching and collaboration with Retail Bank leadership
- Implementing plans and programs to create opportunities for team and partners to acquire new clients and deepen business with existing clients
- Leading implementation of marketing programs and assessing the performance of Financial Advisors within the assigned region/territory
- Supporting business development activities and launching campaigns to enhance the profile as an expert in Mass Affluent sales within the assigned market
- Providing leadership and retaining a highly competent, customer service-oriented team of Financial Advisors
- Managing expenditures, preparing financial statements, and overseeing administrative reports
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7 - 10+ years related experience
Licenses or Registrations:
- Life/Health, Series 65, 7 and 24
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven managerial skills
- Previous sales/leadership experience
- Demonstrated attention to detail and effective project management skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrated experience performing complex financial, statistical, and budgetary analyses, preferably in the banking industry
