About the role
The Financial Advisor provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to clients. The individual in this role develops tailored strategies, manages client relationships, conducts portfolio reviews, and ensures plans align with long-term objectives. The Financial Advisor also monitors market trends, regulatory changes, and collaborates with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with clients, serving as their primary financial advisor.
- Conducts regular meetings to review financial plans, investment performance, and evolving client needs.
- Develops and implements comprehensive financial plans, including investment strategies, retirement planning, tax optimization, and estate planning.
- Provides ongoing portfolio analysis and recommendations aligned with clients’ objectives and risk tolerance.
- Utilizes financial planning tools (e.g., MoneyGuide, eMoney) to model scenarios and deliver actionable insights.
- Identifies and pursues opportunities to grow assets under management through referrals, networking, and community engagement.
- Maintains a proactive pipeline of prospective clients and converts leads into long-term relationships.
- Ensures adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and financial plans.
- Stays informed on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to provide timely and relevant advice.
- Continuously enhances knowledge of financial products and strategies to deliver best-in-class solutions.
- PARTNERS WITH INTERNAL TEAMS, INCLUDING OPERATIONS AND INVESTMENT SPECIALISTS, TO DELIVER A SEAMLESS CLIENT EXPERIENCE.
- CONTRIBUTES TO TEAM GOALS AND SHARES BEST PRACTICES TO FOSTER A CULTURE OF EXCELLENCE.
- ACHIEVES ANNUAL NEW REVENUE OBJECTIVES THROUGH CONSULTATIVE SALES TO NEW CLIENTS AND EXPANSION OF SERVICE LINES TO EXISTING CLIENTS.
- Leverages innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, throughout the sales process to enhance prospect engagement, drive informed decision-making, and deliver a best-in-class client experience.
- SPECIAL PROJECTS AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory roles.
- Proven ability to manage and grow a book of high-net-worth clients.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., MoneyGuide, eMoney).
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and fiduciary responsibility.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to learn new software applications such as online enrollment platforms.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
