Responsibilities and Duties
- Possesses the ability to prospect new customers and solicit new business with assistance from Financial Advisor Officer or manager.
- Utilizes cross-selling techniques to promote other banking services to both new and existing customers.
- Maintains ongoing contact with clients to foster positive relationships.
- Provides comprehensive financial planning services and conducts periodic reviews for clients.
- Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures.
- Attends departmental meetings.
- Engages in civic and community activities, representing the bank while maintaining personal interests.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other related duties as directed by management.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
- Knowledge of securities and investment products, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of financial planning for individuals and businesses.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing practices and principles.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under strict time constraints.
Education and Experience
- A college degree is preferred.
- One to two years of relevant experience is preferred.
