Responsibilities
- Personal coach to our Nation’s military families, focusing on financial plans that evolve to pursue short-term and long-term financial goals.
- Provide guidance on managing day-to-day finances, building lifetime assets, and protecting against the unexpected.
- Engage with the community to attract new clients, supported by your local district team and Home Office.
- Connect with the military community by partnering with local military organizations, military units, and other supporting institutions.
- Coach military families on building a comprehensive financial plan that includes:
- Savings/banking
- Investments/wealth management
- Insurance/risk management
Training and licensing support
- Comprehensive training and licensing program for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
- Sponsorship: Support your pursuit of full registration and licensing as a Financial Advisor.
- Structured training and test preparation to help you obtain necessary securities and Life & Health licenses.
- Opportunity to transition into a paid training role, partnering with a local district office.
- Compensation: Consists of an hourly wage for 3 months and then transition into a salaried position offering progressive incentives during the nine-month paid training period.
Becoming an Advisor
- Successful completion of the paid trainee program opens the door to becoming an independent contractor Financial Advisor with First Command.
- Compensation: No cap on earning potential; compensation reflects your effort and is based on competitive commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation.
