Responsibilities
- Personal coach to our Nation’s military families, focusing on financial plans that evolve to pursue short-term and long-term financial goals.
- Provide guidance on managing day-to-day finances, building lifetime assets, and protecting against the unexpected.
- Engage with the community to attract new clients, supported by your local district team and Home Office.
- Partner with local military organizations, military units, and other supporting institutions to coach military families on comprehensive financial planning, including:
- Savings/banking
- Investments/wealth management
- Insurance/risk management
Requirements
- Military experience or affiliation
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven leadership skills
Training and licensing support
- Comprehensive training and licensing program for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
- Sponsorship and structured training to help you obtain necessary securities and Life & Health licenses.
- Paid training role leading to a paid position with progressive incentives.
- Compensation structure including hourly wage for 3 months, then transitioning to a salaried position with competitive commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation.

- Successful completion of the paid trainee program opens the door to becoming an independent contractor Financial Advisor with First Command.
- No cap on earning potential: Compensation reflects effort and is based on competitive commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation.
