About the role
Associated Bank seeks a Financial Advisor to join its established team. The role involves providing financial planning services and tailored investments and insurance advice to clients, growing a thriving book of business, and building strong relationships with the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Use a holistic financial planning approach to analyze clients' needs and objectives, make appropriate recommendations, and sell investment and insurance products as needed.
- Achieve advisory business, financial planning, insurance, and other key performance metrics.
- Nurture relationships with sales team members to gain insights into complete solutions.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of transaction documentation, and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with banking and Wealth Management teams to provide expert knowledge on investments, insurance, economic trends, and private client, investment, bank, and trust solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance
- Experience: 3+ years of advisory/fee-based Investment and insurance sales, growing a book of business of $250,000 or more. 5+ years of advisory/fee-based Investment and insurance sales, growing a book of business of $400,000 or more.
Preferred
- Licenses and Certifications: Life, Health, and Variable Insurance License Required. Series 7-Stockbroker Exam Required. Series 63, Series 66, or Series 65 Required. CFP-Certified Financial Planner Preferred. CFA-Charted Financial Analyst Preferred.
