About the role
Welcome to Bupa, where we believe in making health happen for those who need it most. As a Financial Administrator at Broomcroft House Care Home, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our mission by managing financial tasks using bespoke software.
Responsibilities
- Raise invoices and process income including cash allocation.
- Complete banking and manage debt management.
- Liaise with Local and Health Authorities for appropriate information and payment.
- Ensure correct and complete documentation including Terms and Conditions for all admissions.
- Safeguard monies on behalf of residents and funds raised by the home, recording and reconciling transactions to bank statements.
- Manage purchasing and supplier payments, petty cash transactions, and replenishment.
- Process employee related information and payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide clerical support to the Home Manager, including letter writing, memos, and local management reporting.
- Maintain a well-ordered filing system, replenish stationary, and manage personnel files.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Financial Administrator.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- An eye for detail and the ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and internal/external teams.
- A dedicated, efficient, and adaptable individual who can handle a varied workload.
- A caring attitude that makes a real difference to people’s lives.

Pay and Schedule
The salary for this role is £15,854 - £20,159 per year, dependent on experience. The contract is permanent.
