Financial Administrative Assistant
Job Summary
The Financial Administrative Assistant supports the Federal Occupational Health (FOH) contract in Rockville, MD. Duties include reviewing and resolving billing issues, monitoring customer spending, and communicating with customers and program managers.
Essential Functions
- Assists Account Analyst in addressing funding issues and providing reports to customers.
- Responds to general customer services inquiries and assists account executives and operational leads in maintaining customer relationships.
- Collaborates with Operation leads, Account Executives, and Program Managers for Federal Occupational Health (FOH) services areas.
- Reviews and recommends financial adjustments to customer funding requests based on actual services.
- Processes financial adjustments to customer funding requests based on actual services.
- Maintains customer spending to ensure appropriate drawdown against billing charges for services.
- Communicates analyses results of customer accounts effectively.
- Enters funding levels and revenue estimates for customers in FOH information system.
Required Skills
- One (1) year experience in customer service health-related field or three (3) years’ experience in customer account management service.
- Proficient in EXCEL and MS Office.
- Ability to learn and use new information systems such as FedHealth, STM, etc.
- Basic office equipment knowledge use (scanning, fax, printer, copier, etc…).
- Trained in basic accounts receivable, GAAP, and basic knowledge of appropriation law.
Required Experience
- Associate degree or higher.
