Financial Accountant Senior
About the role
The Financial Accountant Senior role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.
Responsibilities
- Completes highly complex account reconciliation.
- Presents internal and external monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis.
- Verifies the integrity of monthly results by completing various analyses and interpreting the data.
Requirements
Requires a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 2 years previous accounting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Previous work experience with month end close processes, account reconciliation and statutory accounting principles preferred.

Schedule
Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week.
