Job Summary
We believe strong financial insights help drive smart business decisions. We’re looking for a Financial Accountant who enjoys digging into data, improving processes, and partnering across teams to help support business growth. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with teams across Marketing, Design, Merchandising, and other creative departments to track revenue-generating activities, analyze financial performance, and support accurate reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both the analytical and collaborative sides of accounting - combining financial expertise with process improvement and operational partnership.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Marketing, Design, Merchandising, and other creative teams to support financial reporting and identify process improvements
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L impacts related to revenue-generating activities
- Prepare and maintain journal entries, adjusting entries, and month-end closing entries
- Develop financial analyses and reporting related to revenue accounts and business performance
- Prepare accounting schedules and maintain organized financial records in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards
- Support financial statement analysis and reporting activities
- Develop, maintain, and report on KPIs and metrics related to creative and revenue-generating initiatives
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency
- Aid in travel + expense reporting processes and corporate credit card administration
- Assist with automation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts in partnership with IT and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of accounting experience required
- Previous manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Experience supporting financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software preferred
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting principles; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work cross-functionally and build collaborative relationships across departments; comfort with identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
