Finance Transformation Practitioner Principal Director
About the role
We are seeking a commercially savvy, highly experienced Finance Practitioner to lead significant transformations for Fortune 500 clients. Your role will involve combining deep knowledge of Financial Accounting (F&A) with proficiency in artificial intelligence (AI), advanced technologies, and modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. You will drive deals from inception to completion, build lasting relationships with CFOs, CAOs, and Finance leaders, and implement AI-driven solutions to transform F&A operations.
Responsibilities
- Own the full deal lifecycle from pursuit to project execution, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale finance transformations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key finance executives, influencing strategic decisions and identifying new business opportunities.
- Design and deploy AI-first financial solutions, integrating these technologies into existing ERP ecosystems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Create compelling value propositions that clearly articulate the benefits of your solutions, securing client trust and closing major managed services deals.
- Lead process re-engineering and digital transformation efforts within specific finance towers (Procurement, Treasury, Risk, and Reporting & Analytics), leveraging deep domain expertise.
- Elevate the firm's thought leadership in Finance Reinvention, AI in F&A, and the future of the finance function, contributing to industry forums and publications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent; CPA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale F&A transformation, consulting, or business process outsourcing (BPO)
- Proven track record of leading and closing high-value finance consulting or managed services deals
- Minimum 5 years of deep domain experience in Procurement, Treasury, Risk, or Financial Analysis (FP&A)
- Demonstrated fluency in applying AI, intelligent automation, and emerging ERP technologies to finance processes
- Hands-on experience deploying AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation in finance contexts
- Deep understanding of leading ERP and finance platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Coupa, etc.)
- Industry-specific expertise in Consumer Goods, Industrials, or Financial Services
- Experience structuring and winning finance managed services contracts
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent; CPA preferred
- Required: 10+ years of experience in large-scale F&A transformation, consulting, or BPO
- Required: Proven track record leading and closing large finance consulting or managed services deals
- Required: Minimum 5 years of deep domain experience in Procurement, Treasury, Risk, or FP&A
- Preferred: CPA certification; Big 4 or Tier 1 consulting background
- Preferred: Hands-on experience deploying AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation in finance contexts
- Preferred: Deep familiarity with leading ERP and finance platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Coupa, etc.)
- Preferred: Industry-specific expertise in Consumer Goods, Industrials, or Financial Services
- Preferred: Experience structuring and winning finance managed services contracts

Pay
Annual salary ranges vary based on factors including location, role, skills, and experience. The range for this role is $150,900 to $434,000 annually in California, and similar ranges apply to other locations.
Schedule
Up to 30% domestic and international travel may be required.
