The work our team does impacts the DIRECTV Finance organization by minimizing operating taxes, directly benefiting net income. You’ll get the chance to work on internal tax processes and software, putting your education and skills to the test and see real world immediate impact. We work cross-functionally to provide input and support in various initiatives focused on customer- and company-paid taxes. Project Examples: Analytical work to understand the drivers of California property tax valuesConduct deep financial analysis around pending tax legislation impacting customers and/or DIRECTVSQL reporting from Snowflake Who We’re Looking For Students currently pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or FinancePassion for numbers and data with demonstrated experience in data analytics, visualizationComfortable presenting and speaking with leadersHighly proficient in Excel and PPTSQL experience is a plusPower BIData storytelling, ability to synthesize insights out of the dataProcess documentation - ideation to deliverableStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in virtual, cross-functional collaborationWell-organized and able to prioritizeSelf-motivated and able to hold oneself accountable to tasks in a virtual environment Program Details Duration: 10-week remote internship (This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.) Program Dates: 6/7/27 – 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 – 8/20/27Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the futureThis position can earn $25 - $34 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers.
