Finance Systems Lead

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Technical Lead to serve as the primary technical authority for our ERP financial systems. This role will work closely with finance stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, explore innovative solutions, collaborate on financial reporting, and provide expert consultation on finance-related technical issues.

Required Qualifications

• Finance & ERP: Strong understanding of financial processes (AP, AR, GL, budgeting, reconciliation); Hands-on experience with Financial systems; Familiarity with financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS); Python development experience within Odoo framework; Experience with SQL for financial data queries and reporting; Knowledge of ERP integrations and data migration; Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar); Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication skills — ability to bridge finance and IT teams; Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Experience: 4+ years of ERP or financial systems experience; 2+ years in a technical lead or senior consultant role; Prior experience in a finance or accounting environment strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Odoo Finance/Accounting modules (v15, v16, or v17); Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure; Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / API integrations with financial systems; CPA or finance certification a plus; Experience with multi-company or multi-currency environments
