About the role
The Finance Supervisor is a key partner to the Director of Finance & Administration and leads the organization’s financial analysis workstream. This role sits at the intersection of operational finance and strategic insight — responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of Anthos|Home’s financial reporting, grant invoicing, and budgeting processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, cash flow reporting, and reconciliations
- Analyze financial trends and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial performance analysis
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all financial deliverables
- Oversee grant invoicing, drawdowns, and funding-related reporting
- Serve as a day-to-day operational lead for the Finance team
- Partner with the Development team on restricted funding reporting and compliance
- Support audits, IRS filings, and compliance-related financial activities
- Improve financial processes, controls, and reporting tools
- Partner with Operations and external stakeholders on financial matters
- Supervise financial analysts and oversee daily workflow and reporting
- Provide guidance, accountability, and professional development support to direct reports
- Foster a culture of accuracy, ownership, and continuous improvement within the Finance team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or budgeting
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and reconciliations
- Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
- Nonprofit, social services, healthcare, or housing finance experience preferred
- Experience with government grants and restricted funding preferred
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and audit preparation preferred
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Collaborative and proactive — comfortable partnering across teams and with external stakeholders
- Process improvement mindset — always looking for ways to strengthen controls and reporting tools
- Tech-savvy and adaptable, with comfort learning new systems and platforms
- High degree of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive financial information
Qualifications
- Competitive salary: $90,000 – $95,000/ year, commensurate on experience
- Hybrid work environment (2–5 days in office/field per week)
