Finance Supervisor

Brief Overview

The Finance Supervisor role for Latin America distributors region at Abbott supports executive decision-making through financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis. Key responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, business partnering, executive reporting, process improvement, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• MBA, CFA, or specialized certifications (such as the Certified Corporate FP&A Professional - FPAC) are highly preferred
• 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Cost Accounting, Account and related areas
• Proven track record of managing people or leading cross-functional financial projects
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Hands-on administrative experience with enterprise systems including SAP ERP, HFM, and IBM Cognos
• Ability to translate complex data into high-level strategic summaries
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to influence executive stakeholders
• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required for day-to-day activities and meetings
