Finance Rotation Development Program (FRDP)
About the role
The Finance Rotation Development Program provides the opportunity for high-potential future leaders to gain exposure to functions critical to the Finance organization at Genentech. Over a series of rotational assignments, participants will work in Commercial Finance, Technical Operations Finance, R&D Finance, and Controlling & Accounting. Assignments are designed to provide challenging experiences and training in both technical and leadership areas, with the goal of developing highly talented future finance leaders. Participants may have the opportunity to conduct a rotational assignment in Basel, Switzerland, and Genentech will support career development throughout the program.
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Business Administration
- 4-6 years of work experience prior to graduate school in finance, consulting, or drug development preferred
- Prior work experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries preferred
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Proven ability and experience in effectively interacting with executives and senior leaders
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Pay
The expected salary range for this position in California is $116,800 to $216,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
