Finance Project Manager
About the role
The Finance Project Manager will oversee financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative. They will perform and oversee these services, interact with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff, ensure processes and procedures are followed, lead a small team of financial analysts, and train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases.
Responsibilities
- Oversee processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services
- Perform and oversee financial and procurements services
- Frequent contact with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff
- Ensure processes and procedures are followed
- Oversee a small team of financial analysts
- Perform an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time
- Train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases
Requirements
- At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems
- Proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys
- Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously
- Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS
- Outstanding writing skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Excellent management skills
- Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment in which the work is to be performed, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications
- US Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
- Undergraduate degree, law degree desirable
Qualifications

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
