Finance Process Optimization - Director/AVP
About the role
We're seeking a Lead in Finance Transformation to join our Process Optimization team. This role requires executing end-to-end process optimization efforts across Finance through process identification, process mapping, and supporting the identification of areas of opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Lead end-to-end processes and/or programs that require complex decision making, advanced understanding of client and stakeholder needs, and subject matter expertise
- Understand and adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; own risk and contingency plans for business area
- Partner with the Process Optimization Vice President for end to end process mapping initiatives across Finance and evaluation and track implementation for efficiency tracking (both for Finance and Firm reporting)
- Support the adoption of a designed process optimization framework, including intake, prioritization, and lifecycle governance
- Support the designed implementation and governance of the process optimization metrics framework to enable periodic and ad hoc reporting of efficiency metrics to Finance and Firmwide management
- Build trusted partnerships across Finance and Firmwide Process Optimization teams
- Work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to communicate and coordinate deliverables, track, and report on progress
Requirements
- Proven experience in executing multiple end-to-end process re-engineering initiatives
- Strong understanding of process mapping, process mining, and performance measurement
- Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the organization
- Strong business analysis and business process management skills
- Excel and PowerPoint skills to assist with data analysis and building presentations for senior management
- Evidence of participation in change management and continuous development projects within a complex global organization, preferably Financial Services
- At least 6 years of experience in process optimization, transformation with a background in Finance or Finance related functions
