About the role

The Supervisor - Finance of Americas Head Quarter ("AHQ") plays a key role in supporting financial analysis and reporting processes of subsidiary companies under AHQ, development and implementation of improvement plans for internal controls over such financial analysis and reporting processes. The Supervisor oversees financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while supervising subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate and review new business plans and M&A opportunities, performing analysis and due diligence, assessing business assumptions, and building financial models.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial reporting and its processes of subsidiary companies under AHQ under direction of supervisor.
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting processes to ensure strategic business goals and financial reporting requirements are met.
  • Develop and optimize templates and channels to effectively and efficiently achieve various reporting and monitoring requirements.
  • Prepare monthly AHQ business performance reports including financial results, key metrics, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and present insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities in processes for individual subsidiaries or between subsidiary companies and provide guidance and support.
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate goals.
  • Support month-end book closing process for subsidiaries as needed.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and business cases.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 – 8 years of direct experience in Accounting / Finance.
  • Good understanding of Finance/Accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of Accounting Solutions (SAP, Quickbooks).
  • Proficient Korean bilingual skills.
  • CPA or CFA candidate is a plus but not required.

Pay

$74,500 - $84,000 yearly salary range. (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or computer for long periods.
  • Must operate desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, shredders, etc.
  • Constant use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing.
  • Sit for 5+ hours per day.
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach over shoulder, kneel, push, pull 1-3 hours per day.
