Finance Operations Manager – Build Systems You're Proud Of, Lead a Great Team

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance team of approximately 3-6 people through coaching, weekly 1-on-1s, and performance management
• Own month-end close processes and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
• Establish department operating rhythms including KPI reviews, team meetings, and reporting timelines
• Create accountability standards and create a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
• Design and improve accounting workflows across AR, AP, GL, reconciliations, and reporting
• Strengthen internal controls, audit readiness, and operational efficiency
• Partner with CFO on forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis

Requirements

• Strong experience in accounting or finance
• 3-5+ years managing accounting or finance teams
• Strong expertise in month-end close, GL reconciliation, GAAP, and internal controls
• Experience designing, documenting, and implementing repeatable processes
• Experience developing and coaching team members
• Comfort building systems from the ground up when structure doesn't exist yet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Property management or real estate experience is a plus but not required
