What You'll Own Payroll Multi-state payroll compliance and semimonthly processingBenefits initiation and termination, coordinating directly with our brokerDeduction review, PTO reconciliation, and expense report approval and processingYear-end W-2 and 1095 review Accounting Banking, AP, and AR for our consulting businessGeneral ledger maintenance and review, job costing, and financial reporting for leadershipTimesheet review Audits & Compliance Company insurance audits (workers' comp, business ownership)Payroll and 401(k) audits, and benefits census at renewal Systems & Admin Company and benefits insurance renewals; 401(k) administration and complianceOnboarding new hires to internal tools and serving as the point of contact for related bugs, issues, and enhancement requests Requirements What you bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5+ years of payroll and accounting experience, including hands-on multi-state payroll compliance preferably using PaylocityStrong hands-on experience with Office365, AR, AP, General Ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Comfort learning new systems quicklyStrong written and verbal communication skills.A high level of discretion, accuracy, and follow-through — you don't let details slip Compensation $80,000–$95,000/year, based on experience This is an on-site role based in our Warrenville, IL office.
