About the Role

The Finance/Operations Director is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the business at BIB, including procurement and financial activities. This position develops and executes the business plan while providing strategic leadership to the team. We are looking for a highly organized, flexible, and hardworking professional with an unwavering “can do” attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s daily general operations (administration, policies & procedures, staff recruitment, procurement, IT, EHS, and Accounting).
  • Develop and execute the business plan, budgets, and assist business development & marketing.
  • Motivate, direct, and develop the team to achieve their goals and targets.
  • Work together with the technical team to achieve company goals.
  • Set targets and evaluate performance regularly to ensure continual improvement.
  • Ensure efficient operation and interaction of cognizant areas in the company.
  • Work with the senior management team in setting strategy for the company and provide vision, direction, and motivation to the team.
  • Operate as a strategic planning partner for the development of business plans supporting overall strategy.
  • Serve as a Senior Leader for the field P&L; accountable for building expense and capital budget plans, devising strategies to drive down costs and increase customer satisfaction, and evaluate department performance.
  • Maintain continual awareness of competitors in the market, support expansion opportunities, and work with Sales and Marketing teams to achieve RGU (Revenue Generating Unit) growth.
  • Plan for workload capacity and work closely with business partners.
  • Serve as an executive agent of the company, signing legally binding documents and making commitments on behalf of the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of working experience; MBA degree preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-energy, fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong communication skills: speak, listen, and write effectively in dealings with customers and associates across departments.
  • Make independent judgments regarding critical business decisions.
  • Identify business opportunities and suggest improvements.
  • Understanding of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry is required.

Pay

Salary Range: $130,000 – $150,000
