About the role
The role serves as the strategic finance partner for the Amazon Business (AB) Socially Responsible Purchasing (SRP) program. The candidate will work with Business Developers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to build financial frameworks that measure how SRP drives customer value and revenue growth. They will also develop self-service tools that streamline decision-making and leverage AI to generate insights at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop financial frameworks to measure SRP’s impact on customer value and revenue growth
- Build and maintain self-service tools for streamlined decision-making
- Leverage AI to generate insights at scale and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address financial challenges
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisions
- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
Preferred Qualifications

- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations
- MBA or CPA
