Finance Manager, Amazon Business Finance

About the role

Amazon Business (AB) is growing fast and requires talented finance professionals to support the WW Small Business team. The Finance Manager will partner with key business leaders to drive growth, provide financial leadership, and create scalable reporting mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Finance Business Partner to the Small Business customer segment.
• Partner with key stakeholders across the US, EU, and JP to solve complex business challenges.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial models, business insights, and recommendations that drive results and influence leaders.
• Influence business decisions with effective verbal and written communication, data-driven analysis, and presentation of options and alternatives.
• Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc data analysis, and financial modeling using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Cognos.
• Create new frameworks to support the growth of Small Business spend.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem-solving.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (such as Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel.
