About the role

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's "Last Mile" delivery service, responsible for delivering packages (and smiles) to households and businesses worldwide. The finance team partners closely to support this rapidly expanding business, building a portfolio of delivery stations, vans, and technology to deliver customers' packages on time—often next day, sometimes faster. AMZL augments traditional van delivery with models like Amazon Flex (gig economy drivers), Amazon Lockers, and more, all designed to deliver customer satisfaction.

As a Finance Manager on the AMZL Volume and Capacity Planning team, you will oversee the finance function for short- and medium-term planning. This role involves extensive cross-functional collaboration with business and finance stakeholders across multiple geographies to provide analysis, guidance, financial leadership, and controllership as the delivery business grows. You will support decisions around improving volume and route planning accuracy, aligning carrier package allocation with upstream transportation teams, and optimizing associate and driver capacity levels.

This role offers opportunities to lead, challenge, and innovate by building data-driven, socially responsible last-mile logistics solutions. You will partner with executives, finance leaders, and functional leaders across Amazon to drive thoughtful decision-making, audit business model assumptions, and adapt to a fast-evolving environment.
