About the role

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's "Last Mile" delivery service, responsible for delivering packages (and smiles) to households and businesses globally. The finance team partners closely to support this rapidly expanding business, building a portfolio of delivery stations, vans, and technology to ensure timely deliveries—often next-day or faster. AMZL augments traditional van deliveries with models like Amazon Flex (gig economy drivers), Amazon Lockers, and more, all designed to delight customers.

As a Finance Manager on the AMZL Volume and Capacity Planning team, you will oversee the finance function for short- and medium-term planning. This role involves extensive cross-functional collaboration with business and finance stakeholders across multiple geographies to provide analysis, guidance, financial leadership, and controllership as the delivery business scales. You will support decisions on volume and route planning, carrier package allocation, capacity booking, and attainment improvement initiatives.

A typical day includes leading, challenging, and innovating through data-driven decision-making to build socially responsible last-mile logistics solutions. Success requires partnering with and influencing business owners, auditing assumptions, and adapting to a fast-evolving environment while collaborating with executives and leaders across Amazon.
