Finance Manager – Private Debt

Job Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, fund level returns, and investor deliverables for various Private Debt funds
- Work with the Investor Relations team in preparing fundraising materials and providing information for investor requests
- Prepare monthly and quarterly MD&A on fund performance for senior management
- Contribute to the valuation process for debt, equity, and CLO investments
- Review fund administrator’s work on various Private Debt funds
- Administer assigned funds, including capital calls and distributions
- Work with the Tax team in preparing quarterly tax estimates and year-end tax allocations
- Track and update the portfolio of investments for the various Private Debt funds
- Track interest payment receipts across the portfolio team
- Daily cash management, monitoring, and reconciliation with the bank
- Lead role with the firm’s outside auditor in preparation/review of year-end audited financials
- Provide timely communication to internal and external stakeholders on projects
- Coach and develop junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with a CPA
- 5+ years of experience, including public accounting, preferably focusing on alternative investment asset managers
- Extensive experience with Private Equity/Debt valuation
- SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus
- Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Pay
Salary: $125,000 – $150,000, Plus Bonus
