Finance Manager, North American Customer Fulfillment

About the role

Amazon’s North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is seeking a Finance Manager (individual contributor) to support multiple Amazon Robotics fulfillment center locations. This role focuses on providing financial support and analysis to operational and functional leaders.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models and analyses independently, drawing conclusions and making recommendations that drive results and improvements.
• Align financial and operational analyses with business partners, challenging assumptions when necessary.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to support operational and growth decisions.
• Proactively identify and resolve finance defects, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
• Own financial reporting for a business area and may supervise or teach others in financial reporting.
• Identify and solve complex data integrity issues, collaborating with stakeholders on resolution.
• Develop and execute data analysis processes that are scalable and auditable.
• Communicate data clearly and concisely, adjusting style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues.
• Create effective business partnerships with Site Leaders, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events.
• Lead with integrity, seek out diverse perspectives, challenge business partner plans and assumptions when needed, and positively contribute to work/life harmony.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of finance or related analytical field experience
• MBA or CPA preferred
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
• Experience with financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Experience with KPIs and delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations
• Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
