Finance Manager, AWS WWSO Core Services

About the role

The AWS Worldwide Specialists Finance (WWSO) team is looking for a Finance Manager to collaborate with senior business and finance leaders in the Specialists organization. You'll spearhead data-driven investment decisions, financial planning, and controllership, directly impacting our global strategy and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics dashboards for WWSO Core leadership, including productivity metrics
• Design and implement advanced financial models and analytical tools to support critical decision-making
• Create and implement business mechanisms that are scalable to help your business partners make data-driven decisions
• Conduct in-depth analysis and present findings directly to senior leaders
• Lead the annual financial planning and budgeting process

About the team

This role sits within a deeply collaborative team that operates at the intersection of strategy and execution, forging senior-level business partnerships and enabling Go-To-Market solutions spanning the full portfolio of AWS Services and the corresponding Sales teams.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience, Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field, 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience, 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience, 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business, Knowledge of SQL/ETL, Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools, Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
