Finance Manager , AWS Supply Chain Finance Forward Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Supply Chain Finance team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). You should be passionate about producing financial analysis enabling management to make breakthrough decisions, drive cash flow, and ultimately delight our customers. This role will own critical forecasting processes for supply chain operations and drive strategic financial insights through data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance controllership for one or more supply chain leaders, working directly with the AWS Supply Chain organization.
• Prepare and present financial summaries and business insights to Business and Finance Management.
• Build out and enhance financial models, develop business insights and KPI dashboards, and lead ad hoc analyses.
• Develop and implement long range business planning.
• Work with big data and transform it into insights and information.
• Lead automation efforts of critical processes.
• Confirming compliance with current contracts and controls, while developing new processes and controls to support the growing, global AWS business.
• Identifying and driving process improvements, including creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and templates.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience, Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field, 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience, 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience, 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business, MBA, or CPA, Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools, Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, Knowledge of SQL/ETL, Experience creating process improvements with automation and analysis, Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses, Experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making, Experience creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
