Key job responsibilities
- Navigate complex financial landscapes, providing strategic guidance to business partners in uncertain scenarios with limited information. Deliver balanced analyses of financial and operational trade-offs to facilitate informed decision-making

- Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and financial controls as a cornerstone of the Controllership function. Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve complex reporting challenges while implementing cost-effective risk management strategies
- Demonstrate mastery in your functional area while promoting a healthy work-life balance. Exemplify operational excellence and serve as a positive role model for team members through collaborative leadership and efficient execution of responsibilities
About the team
The Transportation Operations Management (TOM) Finance Team is committed to driving strategic partnerships with Operations and Product teams while maintaining a balanced work environment that prioritizes flexibility.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, or CPA
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
