Finance Leadership Development Program Associate
About the Program
The Polaris Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) offers a unique opportunity to accelerate your career development, business knowledge, and leadership skills through three years of rigorous business rotations within the Finance department. These rotations provide challenging assignments to prepare you for future positions of significant responsibility. The variety of work introduces you to Polaris’ operations and helps you determine where to best apply your interests to meet the company’s needs.
During the program, you will establish mentor relationships with business leadership that continue throughout your career at Polaris. The program provides resources, support, and an environment to achieve both personal and professional success.
Program Length: 3 Years
Rotation Length: 1 Year (3 rotations)
Placement Locations: Plymouth, MN; Medina, MN; Huntsville, AL; Elkhart, IN; and/or Wyoming, MN.
Areas of exposure during rotations include:
- Commercial (FP&A or Controllership for a business unit or function)
- Operations (Engineering, Sourcing, Operations FP&A, or Manufacturing)
- Enterprise (Treasury, Internal Audit, Corporate FP&A, Strategic Capital, Digital and IT, or Financial Services)
Upon completion, you will transition into a full-time Finance-related position, contingent on business needs and demonstrated skills.

Relocation Assistance
Polaris offers a relocation program for qualifying employees, including:
- A lump sum payment.
- Self-haul moving package.
- Lease cancellation/duplicate housing reimbursement.
- Access to a relocation counselor for securing short-term housing.
You will be responsible for daily transportation to and from the office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a graduation date between August 2026 and May 2027.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to commit to working 40 hours per week starting on January 11th, 2027, or June 14th, 2027.
- Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
- Willingness to travel and relocate between sites for rotations and beyond the program for career development.
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint.
- Active leadership experience in student organizations and/or work experiences, with a demonstrated interest in growing leadership skills.
- Strengths in analysis, creative problem-solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership.
- Strong interest in long-term career development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or co-op experience.
Pay
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $68,000 to $72,500 per year. Individual salaries within this range are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. It is uncommon to start at the high end of the range.
Selection Process
Applications are accepted from August to November. Selected candidates will complete a phone screen, business screen, and a virtual panel interview with HR and business leaders. Upon acceptance, the Early Talent team provides monthly communications, including instructions for completing a Brand Slide to support your first rotation placement based on business needs, development areas, skills, and career aspirations. Placements are finalized in late October for January start dates and mid-April for June start dates.
