About the role
As a Finance Lead, you will lead and participate in efforts that provide insight and deep financial analysis to business partners, driving cross-functional business strategy. You will proactively analyze a wide range of business problems and financial trends to guide strategic business decisions and act as a key finance partner for ongoing financial management.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize findings to draw conclusions and provide actionable recommendations.
- Source and model data to develop complex financial analysis addressing pressing business problems.
- Frame and execute approaches to varied business questions as a problem solver.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects, understanding project life cycles.
- Initiate and mature dedicated relationships as the 'go-to' finance partner.
- Enlist support of others, build data models, and communicate results with senior leaders.
- Leverage data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau to communicate business results.
- Build strong relationships with leadership and proactively identify key insights for decision-making.
- Work in a collaborative team environment fostering critical thinking and best practices.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience with a background in consulting, investment banking, and M&A transaction services (accounting background not suitable).
- Experience in strategic finance, management consulting, or investment banking.
- Proven track record of analyzing business problems and financial trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to execute approaches to varied business questions.
- Experience leading or participating in cross-functional projects.
- Familiarity with project life cycles and relationship-building as a finance partner.
- Experience sourcing, modeling data, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Interest in financial markets and passion for the investment management industry.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative team environment.
Pay
$106/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, training, and/or experience.
