About The Role As a Finance Intern, you will: Support for closing reporting, the budget, the business plan and the forecasts of one of our production site. Examine financial statements to ensure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations: Support reliability of financial statements (MAF/IFRS rules compliance, focus on capitalized R&D expenses)Organize, analyze, and maintain financial records: ensure accuracy of management control and financial information in the ERP system of the siteAssess financial operations, identify risks and challenges, and make best-practices recommendations to management & Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits: Business Plan and Budget preparation and ad-hoc analysis in regards of R&D: Organize, analyze, and maintain financial recordsAssist Business Management Controller with various other special projects as needed. Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures and identify potential risks for fraud: Support of R&D internal audit IC2 / external audit for the regionEnsure compliance with MAF, IFRS and internal controls What You Should Have You are a student currently enrolled in courses pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Experience with Excel and Google Applications is preferred.
