Finance Intern

About the Role

Collaborates with the accounting team by maintaining financial records and ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and presents accounting data by processing and interpreting accounts within the ledgers.
• Reviews and resolves discrepancies in financial entries and reports.
• Reconciles and posts financial activity to ensure that payments are charged to the correct accounts.
• Maintains accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles accounts to the general ledger.
• Collaborates in monthly closing processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior working toward a 4-year accounting degree.
• Prior internship or related experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
