FINANCE INTERN

About the role

The Finance student intern will be provided with a professional learning experience in a hands-on, project-oriented work environment. This internship opportunity will prepare students for entry into the business world by providing an understanding of the application of their current/recent coursework in Finance/Accounting to the daily functions of the Finance/Accounting professional in the Casino/Hospitality Industry.

Responsibilities

• Shadow various areas of the Finance (including General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Hotel Accounting and Casino Accounting)
• Receive personalized training and mentorship from our team of professionals
• Develop and/or strengthen planning, organizational, time management, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Perform all other related duties as assigned
• Promote outstanding customer relations

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Finance/Accounting
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Self-starter
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
