This position is designed as an extended, hands-on working interview, providing exposure to core financial operations and close collaboration with experienced team members ahead of upcoming retirements. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to develop both technical accounting skills and strong business partnering capabilities. Role And Responsibilities Support project controlling activities, including tracking costs, monitoring budgets, and assisting with financial analysisAssist with month-end close processes, including preparation and posting of journal entriesPerform balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial recordsCompile and analyze data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirementsPrepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by leadershipCollaborate cross-functionally to gather and validate financial information from various stakeholdersProactively follow up with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of required dataIdentify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives What Success Looks Like Demonstrates ownership of assigned tasks and follows through to completionEffectively coordinates with teams across the business to obtain necessary information, even when priorities differTranslates gathered data into clear, accurate, and timely financial reportingBuilds strong working relationships and becomes a reliable point of contact for finance-related requestsShows initiative in identifying issues and proposing solutions Qualifications And Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, with the ability to navigate cross-functional coordinationProficiency in Excel (experience with financial systems is a plus) Preferred Skills Naturally curious and eager to learnSelf-starter with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervisionPersistent and comfortable following up to gather information and meet deadlinesOrganized and capable of managing multiple prioritiesProfessional, adaptable, and solution-oriented Career Opportunity This internship is structured as a long-term placement with a clear path to a full-time role, providing the opportunity to build deep institutional knowledge, develop technical expertise, and grow within the finance organization. Pay Range: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour, DOE Work Location: Lynnwood office (Hybrid work schedule may be available at manager’s discretion based on business needs, job performance, and the successful completion of onboarding and training requirements in the first 3 – 6 months.)
