About the role

The North Central New Mexico Economic Development District seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead its mission of economic development in the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for economic development initiatives
• Manage financial operations including budgeting and reporting
• Oversee grant writing and technical assistance programs
• Collaborate with local stakeholders to promote economic growth
• Represent the organization at various community events and meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in economic development or related field
• Proven track record of successful program management
• Strong leadership skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Experience with federal funding sources such as US Economic Development Administration grants

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
