Finance Director (Montgomery, AL)

About the role

The Finance Director will lead all accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. They will partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis, KPI reporting, and business insights that support strategic decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis, KPI reporting, and business insights that will support strategic decision making.
• Oversee month-end close, financial statements, internal controls, and compliance activities.
• Develop forecasts, financial models, and performance reporting to drive operational activities.
• Lead process improvements initiatives and optimize ERP systems to improve efficiency and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting, finance or FP&A experience with prior leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and KPI reporting.
• Experience within a manufacturing, industrial or project based environment preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
