About the role
As a Director, Operations Finance, you will lead the financial strategy and performance management capabilities that support Starbucks retail operations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior Operations leaders, helping to shape business decisions, optimize performance, and build the people, processes, reporting, and analytical capabilities needed to create a best-in-class Operations Finance function.
Responsibilities
- Build and transform the Operations Finance function – Establish scalable processes, reporting, analytical frameworks, and operating routines while developing the long-term capabilities of the team and function.
- Lead performance management – Direct business reviews, connecting financial outcomes with operational drivers to improve decision-making and business performance.
- Partner with senior Operations leaders to shape strategy – Serve as a trusted advisor on growth opportunities, productivity initiatives, labor and operating decisions, using financial and operational insights to influence priorities and resource allocation.
- Develop a high-performing finance team – Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals while strengthening analytical rigor, business partnership, and finance capabilities across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience leading financial operations teams supporting strategic planning, reporting, and analysis for a business unit or function.
- 5+ years of management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and business management within a large global organization, preferably in retail, consumer products, or distribution.

Pay
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
