Finance Director
About the role
The Finance Director reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and serves as the senior leader responsible for the budget and financial management functions of the Finance Division. The position provides strategic financial leadership, directs the development and administration of the agency’s operating and capital budgets, and ensures financial resources are effectively aligned with agency priorities, statutory requirements, and strategic objectives. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Works collaboratively with all SPB divisions and divisional staff to expedite finance processes and support agency personnel with the agency’s financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Direct the development and administration of the agency’s operating and capital budgets.
- Ensure financial resources are effectively aligned with agency priorities, statutory requirements, and strategic objectives.
- Provide strategic financial leadership to the Finance Division.
- Plan, assign, and supervise the work of others within the division.
- Collaborate with all SPB divisions and staff to expedite finance processes and support agency financial objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, including on short notice.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, 40 hours per week. May be required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays to meet agency business needs.

Pay
Salary range: $10,000 – $12,000 monthly
