Finance Development Program - Internship

Our FDP summer internship is designed to prepare you for consideration for AT&T’s full-time Finance Development Program after graduation. During this 10-to-12-week assignment in one of our finance areas, you’ll build relationships with current and former program participants across the company while gaining applicable hands-on experience. You’ll also have access to mentoring, roundtable discussions, executive speaker series, luncheons, and many other development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret financials and other relevant data; scope includes budget management, cost benefit analysis, financial forecasting, and expense management
- Partner with various business teams to evaluate how to best leverage analytics and reporting to meet evolving requirements and information needs
- Drive, develop and maintain numerous project deliverables that support the organization
- Work on issues of diverse scope including analysis of market trends and financial data to recommend data driven solutions
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
- Cost evaluation and pricing of new products, services, and contract proposals
- Conduct market research to support internal financial analysis

- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or specialized related degree
- Estimated graduation date between Fall 2027 - Spring 2029
- Ability to meet the full-time, in-office requirement in Dallas throughout the duration of the program
- Ability to quickly learn analytical and data gathering skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Pay
Our Finance Development Program Interns earn an annual salary of $49,000. Individual starting pay within this range may depend on geography, experience, and education/training.
