Finance Data & Automation Systems Consultant (Part-Time, Project-Based)

Purpose Of This Engagement

The purpose of this engagement is to take raw financial inputs such as bank statements, grant inflows, spending reports, and payroll data, and architect a structured data system that produces clean, reliable outputs. The goal is to build financial models and dashboards that leadership can use for strategic decisions, automate routine financial processes to reduce manual effort and error, and develop a detailed and sequenced project plan.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a robust data architecture for converting financial inputs into reliable outputs
• Develop financial models and dashboards for strategic decision-making
• Automate routine financial processes to minimize manual effort and errors
• Collaborate with the team to create a detailed project plan

Requirements

• Mid-career professional with experience in systems thinking and data-driven solutions
• Experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit or similar organization
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
• Experience with data modeling and database design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with financial systems and data architecture
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements

Schedule

Commitment: ~3 days/week (20–25 hours per week)

Duration: 6 months (with potential extension to a Fixed Term Employment Contract)

Location: Remote, with at least 4 hrs overlap with India working hours (9am to 6 pm IST)
