Summary

The Finance/CSDR Lead is responsible for all financial reporting and cost reporting compliance activities for Hanwha Defense USA's ground vehicle program. This role serves as the primary point of contact for program cost reporting, including compliance with Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) requirements, Earned Value Management (EVM) processes (if applicable), and customer financial data requests. The ideal candidate brings strong defense-industry experience, deep knowledge of CSDR policies, and the ability to partner closely with program management, engineering, supply chain, and contracts teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of CSDR development, execution, and delivery for the ground vehicle program, ensuring full compliance with DoD requirements
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of CSDR policies, DID requirements, reporting structures, and current DCARC guidance
  • Develop, manage, and deliver CCDR, SRDR (if applicable), and other mandated cost reports according to program milestones and contractual requirements
  • Serve as the interface with the customer's cost reporting community, including DCMA, DCARC, and the prime contractor (if applicable)
  • Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and program control to collect, validate, and shape internal cost data for reporting
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the program, including development of Estimates at Completion (EACs)
  • Prepare internal financial reports that track performance, spending trends, risks, and variances
  • Ensure proper integration of CSDR data with Earned Value Management (EVM) systems and program cost models when required
  • Provide subject matter expertise during audits, customer reviews, and validation sessions
  • Develop and maintain repeatable processes, templates, and work instructions for CSDR compliance across future Hanwha Defense USA programs
  • Support proposal pricing, BOE development, and cost model creation for future ground vehicle-related opportunities
  • Train and mentor team members and serve as the internal expert on CSDR

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in defense program finance, cost reporting, or related fields
  • Demonstrated expertise in CSDR (CCDR/SRDR) reporting requirements and DCARC systems
  • Experience supporting complex DoD or ground vehicle/land systems programs strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and systems
  • Strong analytic skills and the ability to interpret cost and engineering data
  • Excellent communication skills and experience engaging directly with government customers
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • US citizenship required; ability to obtain a security clearance may be required depending on program needs
